According to Genesis, it was after the great flood, that people  landed in Shinar where they spoke one single language. They decided to reach heaven, Therefore, they started building the tallest tower, babel. Seeing this frustrated the lord. Thus, he confounded their speech. So that, no longer understanding each other, they scattered around the world.
Metamorphosis is a one channel video. It is based on a personal experience. The ongoing shift between two completely different languages, Farsi and English, results in the simultaneous experience of two different contexts. To this extent, this project aims, on the one hand, to represent dual sides of both my cognitive and creative methods; on the other, to juxtapose the antonyms embedded within these two contexts to indicate the gap and interrelation of them. 
For this purpose, within the anthropomorphic representation of the video, I draw Persian alphabet by sand and transform them into its English equivalent. By doing so, I intend to accentuate a pendulum movement between similarity and difference and the struggle within two systems of communication where a linearity of one results in non-linearity of the other.er.
