In “ Life In Quest Of Narrative” Paul Ricoeur claims that there is not only an interrelation between life and story but also a gap, allocating the former to lived experience and the latter to fiction. It seems that an inevitable notion of oxymoron has been interwoven to such set, as a life story.
To this extent, The Cartography Of Oxymoron revolves around thinking process about the life story within above-mentioned context. For this purpose, my personal memories and personal experience meet the daily stories and even scientific facts which I have been exposed in my studio through interaction with surrounding such as social media, news, and the internet, to reach a correspondence.
This installation is comprised of two videos, real objects, and drawing to create out-of-order narrative puzzle pieces to draw the map of the oxymoron; in which the audience, walking within the installation, experience the analogy, as well as, the gap among fragmentary thoughts of the artist about life. So that, the result looks like a book with no binding, a book with no starting and no ending point
